My experience at BSides Dehradun was really great. I had a really cool and great place to stay. Was able to network with other speakers staying at the same venue as well. Not only that everything was really smooth for the 2 days from CTF Challenges to the workshops to the talks. The team of BSides Dehradun is very welcoming, warm and humble. Don't feel like you have to go to a different city. They make you feel like a home.
